Trend Alert: Winter Florals

It seems kind of funny that a big trend this winter is floral print given the cold weather and all. But some flowers never hurt anyone - in fact, flowers often brighten up the day! So in the cold and gloom of winter, feel free to pull out a floral print dress. Just be sure to wear a coat and some warm tights underneath...haha

Cocoa and Pajamas!

Besides being able to get a cute dress to wear to all the holiday parties, I also LOVE being able to curl up in front of the TV watching Christmas movies in some comfy and cute PJs while sipping a cup of Hot Cocoa. PJs also make great gifts FYI!

Aufedersein!

Today is my last day working with Lauren and I have to say that this has been my favorite internship! I was able to work at two fashion shows for Audrey Magazine and for The Shops at Montebello. I was also able to help out with trunk shows and sample sales, along with assisting Jane Oh and writing blogs! I will definitely miss coming here every week. I will be off to London this January until the middle of July. I am especially looking forward to shopping at Top Shop and all of the other cool London shops. I also hope to travel throughout Europe while I am there - maybe Milan and Paris!

Anywho...I had such a great time here and I will really miss it...

Happy December!

Everyone has their Christmas stories of how their mom made the whole family wear matching, tacky sweaters on Christmas Day (or to every holiday party...) but now it seems that these sweaters have gone high fashion. I have spotted many trendy girls wearing them. Teen Vogue even lists "alpine sweaters" as a trend for this season. This one is from D&G! So this year when mom pulls out the sweaters, you can proudly wear them because now they're fashionable!

Jeggings

When I first heard about "jeggings," I was skeptical because the idea of leggings trying to be jeans kind of weirded me out . BUT I recently bought a pair and I am in love! In fact, I am wearing them as I write this. So if you don't already have a pair, don't waste anymore time and go out and buy a pair (or 10)! They are so comfortable!!

The Best of the EMAs!

As I was looking at the red carpet photos for the European Music Awards, I noticed that many of the styles that celebs wore were either dark and edgy or girly and soft.

Hayley Williams from Paramore went for an edgy rocker look (appropriately...) and Eva Longoria-Parker also went edgy.



Miley Cyrus and Rihanna went for ruffly, soft girly looks. I would steal Rihanna's dress in a heartbeat! It is soooo adorable!
