Jeggings

When I first heard about "jeggings," I was skeptical because the idea of leggings trying to be jeans kind of weirded me out . BUT I recently bought a pair and I am in love! In fact, I am wearing them as I write this. So if you don't already have a pair, don't waste anymore time and go out and buy a pair (or 10)! They are so comfortable!!

The Best of the EMAs!

As I was looking at the red carpet photos for the European Music Awards, I noticed that many of the styles that celebs wore were either dark and edgy or girly and soft.

Hayley Williams from Paramore went for an edgy rocker look (appropriately...) and Eva Longoria-Parker also went edgy.

Miley Cyrus and Rihanna went for ruffly, soft girly looks. I would steal Rihanna's dress in a heartbeat! It is soooo adorable!

Upgrade your Jeans

I've noticed that a lot of brands have come out with jeans with cool details on them. Celebs like Rihanna and Kim Kardashian have been spotter wearing these cool jeans. Next to all of these interesting "moto" patterns, your regular jeans may look boring. So if you feel the need to "upgrade" here are some styles that I found really interesting: (Click on the pictures to go to the website)

The Look for Less!

I've seen so many people with these Stuart Weitzman 50/50 boots and have been drooling over them with envy. So since I don't have the $595 to cough up for these beauties, I thought I would search for some less expensive ones that are similar. Here's what I found:

These "Haviland" boots from Steve Madden are almost identical to the Stuart Weitzman ones! They cost $169.95! I'm in LOOOVE!

These "All the Way" boots from Chinese Laundry are pretty similar except they don't have the stretchy back that the other two have. But they're still super cute AND they're on sale for $169.99 too!

Coats!

Despite it being 90 degrees in LA this week, it is bound to cool off soon! So in anticipation of cooler weather, I thought I would find some cute coats!

This Wool Ruffle-hem Coat from Victoria's Secret is super feminine and adorable. It also comes in a lot of really cute colors if grey isn't your thing.

I love the blanket sweater idea, so I was thrilled to find that there is a coat out there with the same idea. This one is called "Wrap You Up in My Coat" and its from BB Dakota.

This coat incorporate the military trend that is big right now. This is the AE Admiral Peacoat from American Eagle. It also comes in olive green. I REALLY want this one!

Holiday Nails!

With Halloween over, its time to start getting excited for the holiday season. Holiday colors are so bold - candy apple reds, emerald greens, silver, gold, etc. What better way to wear these attention grabbing colors than on your nails! Sephora has a nail set with pretty much all the holiday nail polish you will need. AND they are mini-sized so you don't have to waste money buying a huge bottle that will probably go to waste. You can get all 6 colors for only $22! They also have these "Chic Prints" that you can put on your nails with cute holiday designs like bows and snowflakes!

Cool Shoes!

I am addicted to shoes - especially high heels. I will see a pair, fall in love, and then convince myself that I will wear them all the time in order to justify my purchase. The problem is that I hardly ever wear heels! So I buy a new pair and only end up wearing them a few times... While looking at shoes online, I came across this pair of Chewing Gum Heels by Kobi Levi in a "Statement Shoes" gallery on Elle.com. While I would never wear heels that look like I just stepped in gum, these heels are really fun. I also found some other fun/unique/amazing creations, here they are:

Angel bootie, Alexander McQueen, +44 20 7017 8271

Lipstick heel, Alberto Guardiani

Obsessed with...Tory Burch Patterson Logo Riding Boots

At work on Saturday, my coworkers and I ooohed and aaahed over these Tory Burch Boots that a girl was wearing. They are simple and classic and just downright AMAZING! If I could have these, I would never take them off. Thoughts?

Novem-Berrrrrrr

While looking through the trend report on Teen Vogue, I discovered a puzzling new trend - "The Stylish Sweatpant." How is it that sweatpants can be stylish? Isn't the point of wearing sweatpants to say, "I don't care, I just want to be comfortable." I guess that getting to the root of this new trend requires throwing old stereotypes out the door. It would be nice to throw on a pair of sweats that tell the world, "Yeah. That's right. I'm wearing sweatpants AND I'm stylish!"
